(We) contracted The Cavalry to perform some landscaping renovations at our residence in Cloverdale. We had prepared a landscaping design plan in conjunction with Van de Poll Garden Design. From start to finish of the contract The Cavalry showed professionalism in all phases of the project. They completed the project on time and on budget. There were no surprises or unexplained costs. We are happy we chose The Calvary for our landscaping project. Greg Tunner is detail oriented and yet he always thinks about the big picture. While other landscape contractors wanted to do only the "best" jobs, Greg was willing to work with the total landscape concept from design to completion. Greg's "can do" attitude is refreshing. Re: The Crescent Phase 2

To whom it may concern,

Over the Last 7 months, The Cavalry has installed 17,000 square feet of segmental block retaining walls for The Crescent Development at the corner of King George Hwy and Crescent Road in South Surrey. We are very pleased with the results we have seen.

Greg Tunner (Owner; The Cavalry) was selected over other wall contractors for his reputation in the industry for competence and quality, and our confidence in the company's ability to design and maintain a clean feel and flow to the more than 40 individual and interlinked walls throughout our development, some up to 17 feet tall.

The Cavalry installed different components of our landscape as our schedule dictated, and successfully met our timelines. The company is well organized and required a minimum of supervision by our superintendent. The work is excellent; the price reasonable and any extra charges were discussed and well documented for our review and discussion.

This is an open letter to Greg Tunner of Cavalry Construction and his crew who replaced our old retaining wall and in addition created a new design for our back yard. For us, our 60 foot, 5 foot high timber wall was in very bad shape and we were uncertain the best way of replacing it. We had over eight companies present us with their proposals as this was a major project for us to deal with. To keep within a reasonable budget for us, and to understand the engineering and longevity was important to feel comfortable.

It was Greg Tunner's background and vision as well as his explanation of the project that put our trust in the decision to choose Cavalry Construction. The use of Keystone block and caps seemed to be a very stable and flexible strong system and is very visual from our view and from the neighborhood. This project I think was a relatively small one with his background but it was very evident that we had given him a challenge. Greg's ability to communicate and share his direction with our idea and thoughts allowed his creation, for us a very unique retaining wall with a split design with the second level having two recessed planting areas. A separate smaller retaining wall also with steps was create also using Keystone block and caps to level a sloped area in the yard. Using the old back fill of the main wall, it saved us the cost of disposal and gave us a new turfed opening to the yard. I hope this letter will show our satisfaction and appreciation in dealing with Greg Tunner of Cavalry Construction .

The Cavalry Warranty: We stand by our work, without any hassles, and without delays.
The Issue: 1 block and 8 paving stones were adjusted after settling approximately ¼" allowing a small puddle to develop against the stairs. Cost to the client for the repair: No charge.

Hello Greg, in 2005 your company did a retaining wall, front entrance and stairs for us - the stairs are starting to (settle) - I would like to know if you are able to stop by our and have a look at the stairs and advise of it this is able to be fixed by either taking apart and fixing or if there is another solution and what the cost would be for this. Please let me know if this doable and when you could take stop by?
